Barrie and the Barrie Curling Club will be the place to be on the Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend as the two premiere events in the Stu Sells Series events come to town.
The Stu Sells Tankard (formerly the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard) draws many of the top teams in the world to Southwestern Ontario to compete. The 13th edition of this event will feature 24 mens and 16 women’s teams competing for $44,000 in prizes and valuable WCT and CurlON Trillium Series points.
Running over the same weekend, some of the top junior men’s and junior women’s in the country and from across North America will compete in the 9th edition of the Stu Sells Junior Tankard. Teams will earn valuable points for the CurlON Trillium Series, earn a qualifying berth in the BrokerLink OVCA SuperSpiel, earn cash and “pay it forward” entries in future Stu Series Series events
